Great Britain qualified fastest in the women's team pursuit on day one of the UCI Track Cycling World Cup in London.
The quartet of Laura Trott, Joanna Rowsell, Katie Archibald and Elinor Barker clocked four minutes 23.406 seconds to face USA in the semi-finals.
Britain qualified second in the men's team pursuit and will face Denmark in the last four.
The medals will be decided on Friday evening, with live coverage on the BBC Red Button.

Great Britain finished the first World Cup of the season, which took place in Mexico earlier this month, with four medals. The men's team sprint and women's team pursuit outfits won gold while the men's team pursuit squad and Jason Kenny in the men's individual sprint won silver

Trott and Rowsell won Olympic gold at London 2012 in the team pursuit and were returning to the Lee Valley velodrome in Great Britain kit for the first time.
The male pursuit quartet of Olympic champions Ed Clancy and Steven Burk, plus Owain Doull and Andy Tennant, finished behind Australia with a time of 4:02.343.
However, there was disappointment for Britain in the team sprint, with both the men and the women failing to qualify for the medal races.
The men's trio of Philip Hindes, Jason Kenny and Callum Skinner had won gold in the opening round of the Track World Cup in Mexico earlier this year.
